Good day Community,

I hope everyone sprung their clocks forward because it's daylight savings time!

At the Campaign Level,

I will be hosting a potluck at the Beechmont Gazebo soon! When more details are announced it will get its own post but get pumped!

At the Community level,

At the StrEatery on March 14 at 1:30-3:30, the Beechmont Neighborhood Association is hosting a community drop in! I have posted the flier amongst my pictures if you want to see more details.

I believe in community, it's what has motivated me when through this campaign. Meeting my neighbors while canvassing and taking time talking about the little things are always the highlights of campaign events for me. I will definitely show up to this event.

At the City level,

The hearing on the data center was brought before the planning commission last week. Each speaker was allowed three minutes and reportedly there were hours of speech in opposition. Citizens citing things like pollution, exploiting the west end even further among other things. It passed the planning commission because they can only make decisions based on zoning laws.

At the State level,

Donald Trump is Visiting Kentucky, this is due to him promoting a new drug service called TrumpRX and endorsing the opponent of Thomas Massie. While there are a menagerie of bad things Trump has done for our state and city; I want to talk about how he has specifically impacted district 21 wi

th his policies.

The implementation of ICE as it currently exists is a threat to the wonderful immigrant communities that make district 21 strong. The war with Iran has raised gas prices and now it costs more to get to work. All among a general anxiety that makes us all feel unsafe. Though I will only be a metro council representative, I plan on fighting Trump by demasking ICE and holding them accountable, increasing the budget for TARC so that we are less reliant on gas prices to get to work, and increase the use of social workers as first responders to deescalate tensions in the city.
